| Moon Township, Allegheny Co., PA, current population of 27,000 is seeking an individual for the position of Planning Specialist. Moon Township is an active community that is adjacent to the Pittsburgh International Airport and is home to Robert Morris University. This position will perform a variety of routine and complex work for the Community Development Department such as, perform land development and subdivision support, maintain GIS/Permitting software, review building permits for Zoning Compliance, and coordinate events with the Environmental Advisory Committee. Also, this position will assist with the preparation and update of the Comprehensive Plan. | |
| Requirements | |
| Must have experience in local government and working with committees. The successful candidate must have any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university. A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required. | |
