AICP Certification

AICP Certification is the only nationwide, independent verification of planners’ qualifications. Earn the AICP Certification and colleagues and employers will know that you have the academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and mastery of essential skills required to serve your community effectively.

Each year the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association offers a scholarship program to support individuals seeking funds for academic degree programs, internships, and professional development activities that enhance planning at the local, regional, state, and national levels


Become a Planner

Pennsylvania has two graduate planning programs and one undergraduate program accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board, a joint effort of the American Planning Association and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
