It’s not too late to register for the first of a series of webinars on cross-border regional planning along the US / Mexico Border to be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Eastern Time).  Entitled Regional Transportation Planning on the California/Baja California Border, the webinar will highlight the unique cross-border transportation planning efforts that are occurring in the San Diego / Tijuana and Imperial / Mexicali regions, and will include speakers from SANDAG (Elisa Arias, Principal Transportation Planner) and Imperial County Transportation Commission (Mark Baza, Executive Director), along with their state and regional counterparts in Mexico. APA RIPD is co-sponsoring this webinar with the APA Latinos and Planning Division. AICP planners will receive 1.5 CM credits for the webinar.

The registration fee for the webinar is $35 for general registration (including CM credit) and $10 for APA student members. Members of the Latinos and Planning Division and Regional & Intergovernmental Planning Division will receive a $20 discount on the registration fee for this webinar and future webinars in this series – what a bargain!!
