We will explore how local planners incorporate sea level rise projections into different planning processes and documents. How does a local jurisdiction decide which sea level scenario to use? Then how has this been implemented into different planning documentation? Planners from three different jurisdictions will join us in discussing how they have been accomplishing this work in Santa Monica, California, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Charleston, South Carolina.
