This resource is critical for the region’s green infrastructure, contributing to environmental quality, public health, water supply, local economies, and aesthetic appeal. The presentation will describe the Urban Tree Canopy (UTC) process, results, and ways to utilize the data. It will describe how trees are captured in the Chesapeake Bay Model and the requirements set forth for this Best Management Practice in order to receive credit.
