The theme of this year’s annual event is Planning for America250! Come learn how the region is preparing for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence (signed just a few blocks away), both in the city and the suburbs. You will hear from our expert panel, moderated by Chester County Planning Commission Executive Director and APAPASE Secretary, Matthew J. Edmond, AICP. The panel contains a wealth of knowledge and experience from various fields with backgrounds in Economic Development/Tourism, Transportation, and Local Government. The panel will share their unique perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of Planning for the Semi Quincentennial in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. Attendees should leave the event with a better understanding of the multi-disciplinary planning involved in preparing for America 250.
