Central Section Event: Guideposts for Decision Making…

What to expect:

Guideposts to Decision Making: Ethics & Land Use Law workshop is sure to benefit you in many ways. The Ethics Session will provide a general overview of Pennsylvania’s Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, including the conflict of interest prohibitions and the Statement of Financial Interests filing requirements. Emphasis will be placed on a “nuts and bolts” application of the law with frequent reference to actual cases. The APA Code of Ethics Review
will illustrate how the code impacts local decision-making. The Law Session will present recent planning case law decisions and analysis with an emphasis on Commonwealth judicial decisions related to land use and the environment.
