Bicycle and Pedestrian Funding and Advocacy Workshops May 29 & 30 in Camp Hill

Want to increase your chances of securing funding for bicycle and pedestrian improvements? Need to know how to make your dream bike/ped project a reality?

Bicycle South Central PA and Tri-County Regional Planning Commission invite you to attend the MAP 21 funding workshop on May 29 and the Advocacy Workshop on May 30.

These FREE workshops are for advocates, elected officials, planners, agency staff, health promotion organizations and others interested in understanding the federal transportation bill and its impact on biking, walking and Complete Streets. Various funding sources for bicycle and pedestrian projects will be explored. The Alliance for Biking and Walking and Advocacy Advance are presenting these programs which are partially funded by Quality Bicycle Products (QBP).

Brad Mallory, Deputy Secretary for Administration at the PA Department of Transportation. will be the keynote presenter at the MAP 21 Workshop on May 29.

Both workshops are being held at the Giant Community Center in Camp Hill.
Breakfast and lunch is provided.
