The Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association is looking for Great Places in two categories: Great Greenway/Trail or Preserve and Great Public Space . Great Places are unique, memorable places that display a wealth of best practices in community planning and serve as models for other communities. They also have a true sense of place, cultural interest, community involvement, and a sustainable vision for tomorrow.
We want to hear your suggestions for a Great Greenway/Trail or Preserve and Great Public Space designation. Please complete the online submission form by June 5, 2026.
Nominations via the Web
All Great Greenway/Trail or Preserve and Great Public Space nominations must be submitted online. All information is to be entered on or uploaded to the website. If you wish to nominate a place in both categories, a separate nomination must be submitted for each category.
It’s easier than you think to submit a nomination:
- Enter basic information on the online form
- Address category criteria in question responses
- Upload photos
- Attach support documents and images
