Complete Streets Workshop

Complete Streets is a simple idea: streets and sidewalks should be accessible to all residents, regardless of their age or how they get around. The Workshop will detail the benefits of complete streets and provide direction on how to create and implement your own complete street program. Hear examples from programs implemented in Lancaster, PA; Sharpsburg, PA; and the City of Pittsburgh. There will be discussion on funding opportunities and speaker facilitated discussion at different tables during lunch. This session is a comprehensive look at complete streets with local experts on hand to even provide assistance in drafting a complete streets ordinance.
