Green Valleys Watershed Association will host a workshop to educate planners, engineers, landscape architects, municipal officials, facilities managers, landscape contractors, county watershed steward volunteers and community residents on techniques and strategies for monitoring and managing stormwater systems and structures. Through case studies, 13 speakers in the engineering, water quality, conservation, and landscape management fields will discuss technical metrics and methods for monitoring and evaluating BMP performance and management strategies for optimum function. The program will facility a series of speakers (12-13) who will present case studies of their work, explaining both successes and failures and corrective strategies. A lead host will guide the Powered by PechaKucha 20 Images x 20 Seconds, a simple presentation format where presenters show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically as the presenter talks. A host will provide background information, introduce speakers, manage presentation lengths and lead wrap-up Question and Answer session. Presentations will be followed by a networking opportunity.

“Powered by PechaKucha” events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events.
