Pedestrians: Safety, Speed, and Crosswalks

This webinar will present an overview of the safety issues related to traffic speed and pedestrians from a variety of perspectives. First, the webinar will cover safety statistics, speeding issues on local roads, and some speed management steps. Next, the webinar will present an overview of planning for pedestrians, including what you should be aware of in your plans, codes, and ordinances. The session will also discuss the development of an Active Transportation Plan for you community.  Lastly, the session will discuss crosswalks and proven safety countermeasures that you can consider for your crosswalks.
