Zoning for Agritourism – A View from the Trenches

This webinar explores zoning for agritourism from the viewpoints of a land use planner and an agritourism operator. The different perspectives will give the participants further insights into how to effectively engage stakeholders in the planning process and the pitfalls to avoid in regulating agritourism activities. The webinar will focus on regulating agritourism based on scale – small operations versus large operations – and regulating special events, like weddings. The participant will learn how to craft regulations which encourage agritourism in their communities while protecting neighbors and the community from negative impacts.
