The Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) process does not need to be confusing or difficult.  PennDOT wants to partner with municipalities to encourage well-planned and safe community growth.  This two-hour introductory training includes two modules: (1) the basics of HOP’s including access location selection and smart access design; and (2) a walk through of PennDOT’s new E-Permitting System (EPS), highlighting the upcoming “Municipality Profile” page, which will provide local governments with direct access to key HOP information.

The presentation is geared towards Municipal Staff and Public Officials who are reviewing and making decisions regarding land developments including HOP submissions.  Participants in the training will be provided with tools necessary to sign up for EPS and create a Municipality Profile when it becomes available later in 2013. 

The same information will be presented in each session.  Attendance is limited to 30 participants for each session: May 16, 2013
Session 1: 2:30pm-4:30pm (2pm registration)
Session 2: 6:30pm-8:30pm (6pm registration)
