2016 SARA Summit

The SARA Summit is an annual event emphasizing community emergency preparedness and planning. The theme this year is “Are You Aware of Your Surroundings?” and will focus on situation awareness. Community planners are involved in emergency preparedness by implementing sound planning practices that minimize potential threats and ensure an effective response when situations do occur. The SARA Summit is an outworking of the Blair County Local Emergency Planning Committee and the county’s hazard mitigation planning efforts.

Registration is free, but must be made by the close of business on April 22.
