Data center development is active across central Pennsylvania, bringing both significant opportunity and complex challenges for communities, utilities, and policymakers. This six-session program looks at data centers as an emerging land use—starting with the developer’s perspective on why Pennsylvania has become a prime location and how its land use and zoning processes compare nationally. Participants will gain insight into the factors that shape data center feasibility, then move into a broader examination of how state and local governments are responding through policy, regulation, and innovative siting strategies.
