Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA is seeking an organized, motivated individual to serve as Zoning Officer. The candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and is computer proficient. The position is responsible for interpreting and enforcing township zoning ordinances and provides administrative support to the Zoning Hearing Board. This position is full-time exempt. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Salary range: $80K – $90K per year with excellent benefits. |

Requirements |

|
The ideal candidate will have five (5) or more years of progressive experience in zoning; has obtained their Certified Zoning Officer credential or the ability to obtain certification within one year of date of hire; and possesses knowledge of standard surveying practices, property maintenance, construction, and land development, and any other relevant federal/state laws and guidelines. The successful candidate must submit to a background check and pre-employment screening and will be required to attend evening meetings. |
