Job Description 

 

Lancaster County Planning Commission is seeking an experienced, energetic, and forward thinking team player to join its Transportation Planning Division (TPD) as a Senior Transportation Planner. The TPD is set to embark on a two-year process to update the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan at a time when the County is experiencing continued strong growth and economic development, and the very nature of transportation is rapidly changing. As a member of the staff that supports the Lancaster County Metropolitan Planning Organization, the selected individual will have an opportunity to be part of the development of policy, plans, programs, and projects that will help the community chart its future in this dynamic environment.

Job Requirements 

 

The Senior Transportation Planner position requires a Master’s degree in planning and three years of responsible experience in transportation planning, or a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience. Salary is negotiable depending on relevant education and experience. AICP certification is preferred.
