Assisting with routine Planning Bureau tasks including plan filing, assisting with Planning Commission, data entry, attending occasional evening meetings, and other associated clerical tasks; initiating next steps on Climate Action Plan; policy research; assisting Regenerate Lancaster; other project specific tasks that may arise.

Scope: 15 – 20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.
Salary Rate: $12-15/hour, commensurate with experience.
Subdivision and land development process; municipal operations climate change mitigation; public/private efforts around climate change; local government regulations.

Preferably a recently completed undergraduate degree or higher; coursework in environmental science, environmental policy, public policy, public health, urban studies, government, landscape architecture, architecture, engineering, or other related fields.
Desired Skills: Self-starter and independent; exceptional at writing and reading comprehension; keen attention to detail; a strong interest in local government, development, or environmental policy; familiarity with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel; experience with GIS or Adobe Suite is a plus.
