Job Description

 

Chester County Water Resources Authority (CCWRA) (West Chester, PA) is seeking a Water Resources Planner to assist in county-wide water resources and stormwater planning, technical analyses, and coordination of watershed-based partnerships with a variety of stakeholders. This position will lead efforts to address stormwater and water resources in a changing environment and includes activities related to stormwater MS4/TMDL coordination, floodplain management, source water protection, water quality restoration, and natural resources management. CCWRA is an agency of the County of Chester, PA, a county committed to active stewardship of water and natural resources to benefit the quality of life for all.

Job Requirements 

 

Candidate must have experience in water resources, project management and budgeting, working with and presenting to the public and stakeholders, conducting field projects, and familiarity with water resources regulatory programs. Candidate must possess excellent verbal, writing, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ArcGIS and watershed models preferred.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years professional experience (or Master’s Degree plus 5 years experience) in water resources or related field.
