Planner 2 – Data Analyst

Description 

 

Crawford County Planning is seeking an inspiring and highly motivated professional able to support the implementation of the comprehensive plan through the collection, management, analysis and interpretation of community planning and development related information. The Data Analyst provides technical support to professional and support staff in the Planning Office in an effort to:

  • Assist in tracking the implementation of Crawford County’s comprehensive plan and other planning initiatives through the development and collection of data.
  • Collect and clean data related to planning topics including, but not limited to, land use, transportation, socioeconomic and population trends, recreational amenities, and community blight.
  • Supports the creation and development of data-driven decisions and policies.

Requirements 

 

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with three years of experience in the field is required. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with one year of experience in community planning, informatics, or a similar field is preferred. Certifications related to the position may replace up to one year of experience.
