As part of the events planned for the National Conference of the American Planning Conference in Philadelphia the Pennsylvania Planning Association Local Host Committee and organizations listed below are sponsoring a student design competition entitled Energize Penn's Landing. Philadelphia High School students will explore ideas on how to make the area more fun and accessible to visitors and residents alike. A team of design professionals and community leaders will review each submission and will select winning designs. Boards will be exhibited in the Pennsylvania Convention Center during the American Planning Association Conference, April 14 - 18, 2007. The winners will be notified by April 14 and invited to accept their prizes at the convention.
